ANVIS Low Profile Battery Pack

ANVIS Low Profile Battery Pack

For users wanting a remote battery pack to power their ANVIS night vision goggles, the Velcro mounted AB NightVision Inc. Low Profile Battery Pack (AB-LPBP) is designed to interface with your tactical helmet and is the perfect choice for ground operations.

The robust body of the battery pack is machined from high density Black Delrin polymer giving it improved durability against impacts compared to other remote battery packs.  It is also available in MagPul™ Flat Dark Earth Cerakote color option.

The unit features dual battery compartments that can be powered either with two CR123 or four AA batteries depending on user preference.  The O-Rings on the battery lids provide a secure seal, protecting the unit from moisture and making it water resistant.  The lids are tethered with lanyards to make changing batteries a more user-friendly experience.

The AB-LPBP uses a standard 4-Pin Lemo type connector.  It is attached to a 19-inch shielded cable.  It comes with an optional Cable Bend Adapter that can snap on to the connector to allow a side-mounted connection like with the RNVG.

FAQ:

Q:  How does the AB-LPBP work?
A:  To pull power from the LEFT side of the battery pack as shown in the orientation below, turn the power switch knob CLOCKWISE from the center OFF position:

Then, to pull power from the RIGHT side of the battery pack as shown in the same orientation, turn the power switch knob COUNTER-CLOCKWISE from the center OFF position:

Q:  Can I get a 90° angled connector on my battery pack?
A:  We have looked into the 90-degree connectors that are currently on the market and the issue is that they are keyed in such a way that once installed, they would not angle in the correct direction needed for the desired connection.  The LPBP Cable Bend Adapter is our solution to this.

Q:  Will the LPBP Cable Bend Adapter damage my battery pack cable?
A:  Repeated removal and replacement of the Cable Bend Adapter could potentially cause damage to your cable over time, therefore we strongly recommend that users wanting a right angle connection with their AB-LPBP leave the Cable Bend Adapter on as a semi-permanent solution.
